At The Conex Yard, we work to make the delivery process as simple and straightforward as possible. Once your order is confirmed, our team coordinates delivery with you to help ensure your shipping container arrives safely and is placed in the agreed location whenever site conditions allow.

Scheduling Your Delivery
After your order has been confirmed, we’ll contact you to:

Preparing Your Site
To help ensure a successful delivery, please prepare the delivery location before your scheduled delivery date.
Your delivery site should:
- Be reasonably level and stable
- Provide enough space for the delivery truck to access the property
- Be free of obstacles such as low tree branches, power lines, parked vehicles, or other obstructions
- Allow sufficient room for the container to be safely unloaded
If you’re unsure whether your site is suitable, our team can discuss the delivery requirements with you before delivery is scheduled.
Space Requirements
Shipping containers are delivered using specialized equipment that requires adequate access and clearance.
Generally, customers should allow:
Access Width
At least 12 feet of clear access.
Overhead Clearance
At least 14 feet of vertical clearance.
Maneuvering Space
The delivery truck requires sufficient room to safely approach, unload, and exit the property. Longer containers generally require additional maneuvering space.
If your property has narrow driveways, sharp turns, steep slopes, or other access limitations, please let us know before placing your order.
Delivery Day
On the day of delivery, our driver will:
- Verify the delivery location
- Position the container whenever site conditions permit
- Perform the unloading process safely
- Confirm the delivery has been completed
For safety reasons, please keep children, pets, and unnecessary personnel away from the unloading area while delivery is taking place.
Delivery Inspection
Once your container has been delivered, we recommend inspecting it before the driver leaves whenever possible.
